Well after a few days of anticipation and thanks to Joel's assistance the beast has a new home. Here's a few bad pictures of it... The body has been modified some and needs to be finished, I need to get some welding done on the pan and I need an engine but, for what I paid, it's not bad.

Good news and bad news. Since I found another somewhat more appealing project a few days after I found this one... the Bradley is going to be up for sale soon.
If project Herbie (who am I to change a 30? year old name) runs, I'll also have an '89 Camry going out too. Just need to tune it up and do a few minor things to it.
If any of you are interested, let me know. _________________ Dave T. |

A few more shots. Haven't done anything on it yet. Money's all tied up in insurance claims...
Ooo, mags. Too big on front unfortuately (probably the last time I'll ever say that if dog the bounty hunter goes off the air...).
The PO didn't like the factory tail. He was on the right track, I guess. I've seen one where the whole backend opens up. Based on the magic marker lines, I guess he was trying to copy it. At least he didn't just cut and run (ha).
Need to figure out how to get the headlight covers to work...
Plexiglass takes paint well (x2)...
Yea, it needs a narrowed beam (6"??? )

Looks like a cool project Dave. I can help you with the headlight doors if you want. If the parts are all there they are opened and closed from inside the car. But seeing as the body has been off the pull rod may be gone. I should have a fix for your Gullwings within the next month or so. Looking forward to checking it out.

If your planning on keeping it, DT, it may be a long term project. To me, anyway... _________________ Now, it's a 2387!!!

Having the Cabby out in the rain the last few days is causing me doubts. That thing needs to be in the garage...
Gotta get a couple checks asap. Need to get the roof fixed. Where's that stick welder!?! _________________ Dave T. |

Well I have to take some pictures but I have a 1600 dp for the Bradley. It's an AK series (used after July '73). Basically complete except for the alternator. I need to go through it but the crank spins and I'm told it ran. Even has an electronic pickup in the dizzy. The PO let some crap get into the heads when the intake was removed so I need to clean that out.
6V or 12V that is the question. I think 12V but I'll have to replace all the lights and stuff.
The to do list is long.
For go:
Finish welding pans
Weld up or replace gas tank
Clean up and install engine
Get a starter
Install narrowed beam
Install narrowed tierods, etc...
Get and install seat frames
Go through the brakes
For legal:
Convert bulbs and stuff to 12V
Replace 'doors'
For show:
Body work!
Front fender lips
rear engine lid
Primer
Paint
Hoping to do something like this...
